The exciting time has finally come to record my very first album! As it happens, the project comes with costs that I cannot fund entirely on my own.
Embark on a musical journey through my life with this CD, where each chosen piece resonates deeply with my personal and family histories, spanning three continents. Born to a Nicaraguan+American mother and a Hungarian father in the U.S., spending my early childhood in Ireland, and now living in Belgium, my varied cultural background grants me a unique understanding of these diverse musical styles and traditions.
This CD promises a fusion of styles and instruments, bridging the virtuosic realm of European/American classical violin with the vibrant allure of Latin American music. A blend that celebrates the rich tapestry of my heritage and experiences.
The pieces on this album share a common thread, emphasizing short musical compositions. With none exceeding 10 minutes, hopefully, it can enchant classical music enthusiasts well-versed in European repertoire while honoring those, like my Nicaraguan grandmother, who revel in dance rhythms and music that brings their cultural heritage to life.
